No I haven't fallen off the face of the planet. I've just been having technical difficulties with my blog of late. And this time it's not a "carbon based error".
It seems that Blogger only supports the most current version of Internet Explorer and the version just before that. Which means if you're using IE 8 (which I am on all my computers) you can add format your posts, add pictures and do other stuff you're use to doing. Luckily I have Google Chrome on my laptop as well as IE8 but I'm not use to using my laptop and and I've been sharing it with a friend so I don't always have access to it when I want.
I really like to type my posts up on my work computer after I've logged out of work for the day. After staring at a computer screen all day, as soon as I turn the computer off the last thing I'm thinking about is turning another one and getting online. The last post I typed on my work computer and saved as a draft. I had to go in and change the formating to make it acceptable to post. I hope I fixed everything. I also hate typing on my laptop's keyboard.
The only way I think of to get around this problem is to upgrade my IE or to change my blog. Since I always seem to have problems when I upgrade anything I'm not all that excited to rush out and do that.
What I have been thinking about a lot lately is moving my blog to WordPress and get my own domain name. Instead of having the ".blogspot" part in the name it would be only "lifeofagamergirl.com" (unless someone else has registered that name. There is a cost involve but I don't think it would be too much to handle.
Except now my account has revert to silver because I don't have the money to comfortably renew my Xbox Live to gold at the moment. I'm hoping to be able to go back to gold by the middle of November. If not it might have to wait until Christmas. It makes shopping for an xmas gift for me easy.

I've been chastised
At a family gathering yesterday my little brother (kaiakapero) chastised me for not keeping to my "3 posts a week" goal you people set for me. Things have been crazy busy at work and since I love to take a break and type up my entries at work I haven't had much of a chance to do so lately. Yes, I know I could do it once I got home, but after staring at not one, but two computer screens all day I just can't stand to look at another monitor at home. It might be because I've got two 21" flat screen monitors on my desk at work and one 19" old CRT monitor on my desk at home. It makes a difference.
And speaking of my brother kai, his birthday is coming up on June 11th so be sure to pester him with well wishes for growing old. Yes, I know I'm older than him, but I've come to terms with my old age. I'm not sure he's done that for himself yet. Besides, sometimes I think he's lonely playing Call of Duty 4 by himself. We all keep talking about going back to that game. Maybe someday we'll do it and join ya, kai.
And don't worry about this being my only post for the week. I've got another idea rattling around in by brain that I'd like to spill out, once it's more fully framed. And kai and Genghis Khan are to blame if you don't like it.

Ooo! the pretty colors
I'm trying out a new template for my blog. I've tweaked a few of the colors but I'm not sure if I like it yet. I had the old set up for almost 2 years so I think it was time for a change. What do you think?

New Poll - posting schedule/New Year Resolutions
So I have a new poll up. It's related to the New Year Resolutions I've been trying to nail down over the last couple of days. Here it is:
This is where you get to tell me what to do (and in theory I should do it). One of my goals will be related to this blog and I'm trying to figure out how many times I should post. Just know that "every day" is completely out of the question. Even I don't have that much to say. There have been some times where I've wanted to post daily or even hourly but then I wonder if anyone reads it or even cares. I know my friends occasionally come on and read things but if I posted more regularly then maybe they'd read more regularly. Like today might have multiple entries. Partly because I'm bored. But partly because I haven't been keeping things up like I want to. Besides I've got to tell you all to stop yelling at me somehow, don't I?
