I got your message and I can tell you how truely sorry I am because the same thing happened to me in May. That's the reason that I have an Avatar now. I tried to recover my profile and Live wouldn't let me do it until I created an Avatar! >:(
The part that pissed me the most was the lost data more than the physical property... Time vs money.

Since you were able to get online and send the message, I'm sure you changed your Live password too?

I am not trying to make you nervous, but thieves sometimes come back a few weeks/months later after the insurance gets your stuff replaced. 2 words - security system. A flightless bird living on their her needs to feel safe. A lot of places charge minimal amounts for decent security. You should check it out. And I am so glad I don't go to the Fry's at rd 43rd and Cactus. (assuming that is where you went) I will never walk down the milk aisle without thinking of you. It could have been worse. You could have been in California.... shopping at "RRRRRRRAAAAAALLLLLLLPPPPPHHHHHSSS!" lol - Evil Ric

Do I really want to replay 4 disks of Lost Odyssey? No. That what gets me the most. Most of the games I could probably rebuy but the time spent playing can never be purchased.

Evil, I made it to the bathroom, but I left my cart out in the middle of the store. And, yes I know they could probably come back. Especially since some of the stuff they took AND DIDN'T TAKE is surprising.

I don't have money for security (I thought the dog would help with that, but she's loving all the excitment) I spent all my extra money on game that I now can't play.

Pengwenn, I am so sorry to hear about the break-in. There are some things that insurance can't replace - like keepsakes. I hope they didn't take anything of sentimental value.

That really sucks. That is my second biggest fear. You need to buy a pitbull or something less friendly.

Well if you don't have a lot of money, Walmart sells small alarms that you can attach to doors/windows for about $15.00 each. If you know the point of entry, you can put these types of alarm on them. They don't broadcast alarm anywhere, but they make a hell of a lot of noise and may scare away any repeat offenders. The hardest thing to replace after an incident like this is your piece of mind. Makes you want to set up COD W@W zombie traps everywhere in your house. I wish that if they find the person who did this to you that they let you play "Whack-a-mole" with their testicles.

I am sooooo soooo sorry this happened. There is no worse feeling. I had a Corvette stolen once, but can't imagine someone being in my house. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, as well as thoughts and prayers of ill will to the complete fuck heads who did this. Get a gun and have Ghengis come teach you how to mame.

With Kralons Idea, check your local dollar tree dollar store. THey have magnet alarms to attach on doors and windows for a buck each. You can tape or drill them. Used them at my old house.
